This PEX-AL-PEX tubing is designed for radiant heating and domestic water applications, meeting/exceeding ASTM F1281 and CSA B137.10 standards. With a lifetime warranty, it is rated for 160 PSI at 73 degrees, 100 PSI at 180 degrees, and 80 PSI at 200 degrees. Its OD of 1.26, ID of .98, and .114 wall thickness give it a weight of 2.32 pounds per foot. Perfect for various projects such as concrete slabs, sub-floor heating, and other similar applications, with typical loop lengths ranging from 250 to 350 feet for 1/2" tubing. Use with compression style fittings.

PEX AL PEX is a tubing which has a layer of aluminum in it to prevent oxygen penetration. Plumbers like it because the pipe has a memory and stays where you bend it, a lot more like copper tubing.
